It’s coming. One of the hard truths that we are going to have to accept is the sheer number of pedophiles in the world.
On top of this is the technology that is now available to this population, which has enabled the development of a culture of pedophilia.
This is an important phenomenon to consider because it leads one to wonder: what kind of culture would pedophiles make if left to their own devices?
If enough of them got together and were able to live free of the taboos that society has utilized to make this behavior seem and feel inappropriate, what kind of culture might they develop?
It's important to think about this in terms of lowly pedophiles, you know, just blue collar guys who have an unstoppable attraction to children and to minors.
But once you start to think about it more and more, you have to ask yourself, what would it look like for pedophiles to develop high culture, better know as haute couture?
What would it be like if pedophiles were able to develop a culture that celebrated their sexual predispositions freely in spaces of wealth and power?
What if there were circles of pedophiles in positions of wealth and power that formed a bond and, though secretive at times, what if that bond and that community and that culture made them feel more comfortable in being more and more open about who they were?
The Offending Non-Offending Dilemma
There's a controversial TED Talk that deals with pedophiles in terms of offending or not offending, explaining the problem with conflating the two.
The talk is focusing on reducing the stigma on pedophiles so that the non offending pedophiles can be seen as different from the offending pedophiles, which in and of itself isn't that controversial, given the fact that we all want to stop the pedophiles before they offend, rather than waiting until they offend so we can light up our torches and pitchforks.
This doesn’t mean we accept pedophelia as normal, but rather that we do not let our emotionality on the issue cloud us from practical solutions to protect children. This is a reasonable idea.
What is actually dangerous about the TED talk is that it promotes the idea that pedophelia is an unchangeable sexual orientation, like any other, rather than it being a mental illness.
This idea of pedophelia as an orientation, even though it is contradictory to the current definition of pedophelia in the DSM, is being pumped by a pro-pedophile academic community.
Researchers like the late Paul Federoff (someone who worked with pedophiles for over 30 years) have shown that, if treated as a mental illness rooted in an unhealthy sexual interest, pedophelia can be helped. And yet academics like the one in the TED talk are boldy claiming all the research shows pedophelia is an orientation, despite research that shows it should be addressed as men with pedophelia as opposed to calling them pedophiles.
If we ignore the possibility of healing these men, then we are helping along the narrative that pedophelia is an unchangeable sexual orientation.
If we allow it to become an orientation, then researchers like Dr. James Cantor, the feature of CBC’s uber creepy documentary I, Pedophile (ironically unavailable to Canadian viewers), will become the lead voices in the matter.
Cantor promotes the idea that pedophiles should, of course, be stopped from abusing children, but that the best way to do this is to first and foremost, to tell them they can never change. Secondly, to link them up with medical institutions that allow them to maintain total anonymity. Third, to encourage them to connect with a community of other pedophiles trying not to rape children. And finally, as he suggests in I, Pedophile, we should give them all child size dolls to continuously gratify themselves.
Which brings me closer to the point I’m trying to make about culture.
One of the things pointed out in the TED talk is the sheer number of pedophiles in the world. I have come across this again and again in my research on this topic. Some studies say that there is one in every 100 men. Some studies say 5% of men are pedophiles. The TED Talk cites the 1-2% number, explaining that this translates to about 60 million men worldwide.
That’s one of the most conservative estimates out there.
This brings us to the fact of sheer statistics. If there are millions and millions of pedophiles existing in North America, that is to say offending and not offending pedophiles, that means there are millions and millions of (mostly) men having regular, deeply sexual thoughts about children.
So my first question is, even though pedophiles disgust and enrage you, do you really want to commit to the idea that there are 60 million men on earth who simply cannot be helped? Should we follow some of the more extreme sentiments floating around social media and immediately castrate or kill 60 million men, many of which have only struggled with thoughts and have yet to offend?
The idea that there is treatment is essential in this battle. If it dies, the notion of the pedophile with a valid orientation that deserves civil rights can thrive.
But the second question I have, if there really is 60 million pedophiles on earth, is this:
Is it even statistically possible that the circles that make up our governmental and cultural elites aren’t populated with pedophiles?
Even of the blue collar pedophiles we can ask: why would they not have found each other online, and in quiet communities and developed a culture? It’s absurd to think otherwise in the age of super-connectedness, and fetish forums for everything you can think of.
But with the secrecy and power afforded by elites, why wouldn’t these pedophiles have also found each other, and taken comfort through the ancient human ritual of producing and consuming culture together?
And it's important again to ask:
If allowed to develop like any other culture, what might that culture look like?
Elite Pedophelia and Psychopathy
The recent revelations of Instagram acting as a pimp for child sex trafficking gives us some of the latest answers insight into this question.
With the Instagram story, we have once again been brought back to the pedophelia code words “cheese” and “pizza” and “MAPs” (minor attracted persons.)
We all remember how brazenly the media told us that pizza as a code word being used by elites for child abuse was an absurd notion, a wild conspiracy theory that had allegedly caused “real world harm.”
But the Instagram-acting-as-child-sex-slave-pimp story is a brutal reminder of how brazen this community is getting, and once again, what the culture of pedophiles looks like when it is allowed to thrive and develop.
And just like Tucker Carlson recently pointed out, the deafening silence from the government, law enforcement and Instagram itself on the social media giant pimping children to adults— people like Jeffrey Epstein did not cause any discomfort in circles of elites. They all spent time together consuming culture and enjoying each other's company, and the fact that he raped minors wasn’t a big deal. In the circle of elites Epstein frequented this was a comfortable fact.
When we look at the artwork owned and enjoyed by people like Tony Podesta, infamously caught up in the Pizzagate scandal, it comes across as eerily similar to the culture uncovered when Balenciaga-gate broke.
As the Balenciaga scandal deepened, researchers began to dub it #Fashiongate, because it appeared that the haute couture of the fashion world had become an incubator for the culture of not just pedophelia (the sexual attraction to minors) but to child abuse in general (whether sexual or not).
Twitter user Curiouslight did a deep dive into Balenciaga stylist Lotta Volkova, who has been one of the main stylists for Balenciaga since 2014. Volkova, as one would expect if there are thriving circles of child abusers developing high culture together, has been known to be in a relationship with an accused child abuser.
Let me emphasize this again.
These images give us a glimpse into culture being produced that not only celebrates pedophilia, but as people dug deeper into the artists connected to these photoshoots, they found that indeed there was a culture that celebrated all child abuse.
This is where the distinction being made by the creepy ass TED talk becomes relevant. Because when we see this from a medical lens, there is indeed a difference between people who want to have sexual relationships with children and people who have a deep obsession with children suffering.
Remember, it is in the spaces of academia and medical literature where the effort to declare pedophelia as an immutable sexual orientation is emerging, so these distinctions matter. One condition is the struggle with persistent sexual thoughts about children, to the point that it disturbs ones ability to get through their daily life.
According to the DSM-5, there are three criterion, with six specifiers:
An individual who has had arousing fantasies about, urges for, or behaviors with a prepubescent child or children.
The individual has acted out these sexual desires, or is experiencing significant distress or difficulty as a result of these desires.
The Individual is 16 years of age, and at least five years older than the child or children noted in Criterion A.
The other one is a form of psychopathy and sociopathy. As the pro-pedophelia narrative progresses this will become increasingly important because, while the data seems to show no strong link between childhood abuse and pedophelia, there does seem to be a link between childhood abuse and the personality disorders that create a psychopath.
Coming back to my original focus, what does it mean for culture to be produced by and for pedophiles, but also, what does it mean for culture to be produced by and for psychopaths who enjoy the suffering of children?
More importantly, what does it mean to have pedophiles and psychopaths in positions of great power, building community, enjoying culture reflective of their shared interests?
And to what extent would those already in power, who have these predispositions, be further empowered if ideological subversion was used to slowly but surely, over a few generations, normalize the idea of pedophelia?
What if, in the style of communist ideological subversion as described by Yuri Besmenov, we are being steered in a direction where the idea of adults engaging children sexually is being made more and more normal?
The pathological and clinical distinction between those who are sexually attracted to children, and those who are sociopaths that enjoy the suffering of children being difficult for the public at large to distinguish brings up a deeper question:
Given the Marxist operating system running North American academia, the woke hoard can easily be fed the correct set of mental gymnastics to make pedophiles the new oppressed victim.
Is it really that far of a stretch to imagine this hoard fighting for the civil rights of pedophiles if they are given a flimsy narrative about it protecting children?
And if the pedophile gets civil rights what would this mean for the psychopath, already operating within the culture of pedophilia?
What if the normalization of adult attraction to children is being given the official status of a sexual orientation as a cover for genuine psychopaths in positions of power to operate more freely?
If pedophiles obtain civil rights status, convictions for child abuse will become a far more complicated process. What’s to stop a psychopath from simply saying “I identify as a pedophile,” to gain the legal protections that come with civil rights status?
For many, these are outlandish questions.
But then again, the progression of the public’s consciousness from Pizzagate, to Balenciagagate and now to Instagram being exposed openly supporting child sex trafficking, means these questions are increasingly relevant and worth asking.
Threading the Needle
If there are 60 million pedophiles in the world, then it’s worth noting that many of them don’t have a trace of pscyhopathy. In fact the work done by Dr. Federoff points to the fact that there are millions of men living with these thoughts who are horrified by their condition and would do anything to get rid of it. This is in fact the premise of a lot of Federoff’s work: that the intrinsic desire to change their sexual interests, because they know them to be morally wrong and dangerous, becomes the driving force in their recovery and reintegration.
This is to be distinguished from the rabid monster most people imagine when they think of a pedophile— the evil, selfish beast lusting after children, obsessed with his own gratification.
Arguably this image so many of us entertain is actually of the psychopath…the sociopathic maniac who wants more than just the sexualization of children, but in fact wants their suffering.
The truth may be that, in a culture that is increasingly sexualizing children, life is being made even more nightmarish for those suffering from clinical pedophelia who want to change and would benefit from clinicians like Federoff. Put on top of this the fact that you have researchers like Cantor telling them they can never change their sexual interests, and the conditions are looking very grim.
At the same time, those pedophiles who also suffer from forms of psychopathy, or even those who are simply sociopaths, who prey on anyone they can have power over, are being stimulated more and more by cultural instances of children being sexualized.
We absolutely must stop the normalization of these forms of cultural production because they are wrong, but more importantly, because they are creating the conditions that just may unleash more and more of the 60 million men on earth struggling with repressed clinical pedophelia.
As Tucker Carlson put it, the taboo around child abuse is fading, and we must hang on to our taboos.
And yet many of these men won’t seek help because of the stigma. It’s the worst secret imaginable.
The needle we need to thread may be that we have to accept that there are a great deal of pedophiles who can and should be helped, which will require a lessening of the stigma, without participating in the normalization campaign at hand.
Stopping men with a sexual attraction to children from consuming child pornography, or worse, abusing a child, should in fact be a priority, but this means supporting the idea that these 60 million men are not trapped like this for life.
Can we handle the nuance?
Can we stop the pedophile from becoming the next oppressed hero in the Marxist narrative that uses the woke hoard like a form of plug and play?
Pls correct typo in above article, as it is important for clear meaning-- replace "hoard" with "horde"
Webster's dictionary defnitions: "hoard" is to collect, store up (as in hoarding)
"horde" is a loosely organized or disordered crowd or throng
